She has also worked as a journalist, news editor, copy-editor, waitress, cook, professional soapmaker, pizza delivery driver, and she has launched two small businesses. Hundreds of her articles have been published online and in print in regional and national publications. She holds a B.S. in Journalism and is the author of 7 published novels.
